Conserving Candles
Do you ever spend too much money for candles? I used to sell expensive candles and ended up having many left over after I quit. This past Christmas, I bought one of those candle warmers and decided to put a votive candle in a glass candle holder (jar) and place it on the warmer. The candle has lasted 10+ times as long as it would have if I had just burned it regularly! The candle melts down like these new aroma melts holders that are so popular now. Once you turn it off, the wax solidifies and is ready for your next use! If you are going to pay for the expensive candles, I highly recommend purchasing a candle warmer from your local craft store. It will definitely make your candles last a lot longer. |
